The director general of armed forces medical services (DGAFMS) has recently released a recruitment notification of various posts. Candidates who are interesting to participate the vacancies advertised by the DGAFMS authority, are directed to read the whole notification details before apply. In this article, we will provide you a detailed information regarding the vacancies such as multi tasking staff (MTS), Cools, Fireman, washerman, lab assistant, tradesman mate, Storekeeper etc. These vacancies will be filled in 2025 year, to know more about (DGAFMS) Group C vacancies you need to check the below mentioned table.
DGAFMS Recruitment 2025 Post Wise Qualification :-
1. Accountant: Degree in commerce from a recognized University. Or 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University with two years experience in Cash, Account and Budget work in a Government Office / PSU / Autonomous body / Statutory body. Age limit for the post of accounts is 18-30 year's.
2. Stenographer Grade-II: 12th class pass or equivalent from recognized Board/University.
Skill Test Norms Dictation: 10 Minutes @ 80 words per minute and the duration of transcription of the same as mentioned below
(a) Manual Typewriter. 65 Minutes for English, 75 Minute for Hindi Or (b) On Computer. 50 minutes for English, 65 minutes for Hindi.
Age: 18-27
3. Lower Division clerk: 12th class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board:
✓ A typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi on manual typewriter;
Or
✓A typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer.
(35 words per minute and 30 words per minute correspond to 10500 Key Depressions Per Hour or 9000 Key Depressions Per Hour on an average of 5 Key depressions for each word)
Age: 18-27
4. Store Keeper: 12th class from a recognized Board or University.
✓One-year experience in handling Stores and keeping accounts in a Store or a concern of Central or State Government, autonomous or statutory organization, PSUs or University or banks or in a private sector organization listed on the stock exchange(s) of India.
Note: The qualification regarding experience is relaxable at the discretion of the competent authority in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes or the Scheduled Tribes if, any state of selection, the competent authority is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill-up the vacancies reserved for them.

5. Photographer: 12th Pass or equivalent, or Diploma in Photography.
Desirable
(a) Three years experience in photography,
(b) Must be fully conversant with art and technique of photography and knowledge of laboratory processing work.

6. Fireman: Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
Physical Fitness:
(a) Height : 165 cm (minimum) for males and 155 cm (minimum) for females with 5 cm relaxation for candidates (male & female) of hilly areas.
(b) Weight: 50 Kgs (minimum) for males and 43 kgs (minimum)for females.
(c) Chest (non-expanded): 81.5cms
(d) Chest (Upon expansion):85.0 cms
(e) Eye Sight: 6/6
Endurance Test:
(a) Carrying a man (fireman lift of 63.5 Kgs to a distance of 183 meters within 96 seconds)
(b) Clearing 2.7 meters wide ditch landing on both feet (long jumps)
(c) Climbing 3 meters vertical rope using hands and feet
Technical: Must have undergone training in Fire Fighting under a State fire service or a government recognized institute not less than 30 working days.
(b) Must be conversant with the use and the maintenance of all types of extinguishers, Hose Fittings and Fire appliances and equipments like Fire Engines, Trailer Fire Pumps and Foam Branches.
Desirable:-
(i) Valid license for driving of LMV.
(ii) Experience of having worked in a regular Civil or Defence Fire Brigade as Fireman from any Government.
(iii) Have passed the General Fire Fighting Course from any Government recognized institute.

7. Coock: Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
✓ Proficiency in the trade.
Age: 18-25
8. Lab Assistant: Matriculation or equivalent with Science as one of the subject.
✓Preferably should have worked in laboratory or Chemical/Drug factory for one year.
Age: 18-27
9. MTS: Matriculation from a recognized Board.
10. Tradesman Mate: Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or Ex-servicemen of appropriate trade.
✓Apprenticeship or competency in any one of the following trades: Fitter, Welder, Watch Repairer, Blacksmith, Molder, Cutler, Painter, Tinsmith, Tin and Coppersmith, Carpenter and Joiner, and Sawyer.
Age: 18-25
11. Washermen: Matriculation or equivalent pass from a recognized Board.
✓ Proficiency in the trade.
Age: 18-25
12. Carpenter & Joiner: Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
✓Certificate in the trade from a recognized industrial training institute or apprenticeship at a reputed establishment/firm;
✓ 3 years experience in the trade.
Age: 18-25.
13. Tin-Smith: Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
✓ Certificate in the trade from a recognized technical industrial training institute or apprenticeship at a reputed establishment /firm.
✓ 3 years experience in the trade.
Age: 18-25.
DGAFMS Recruitment 2025 Application Fee:- Fee exempted for all categories.
DGAFMS Recruitment 2025 Important Instructions:-
✓ Selected candidate will be subject to all India Service liability.
✓ Merely fulfilling the basic selection criteria does not automatically entitle a person to be called for written test / trade specific tests.
✓ Candidates are to bring original certificates viz. SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD/ESM, educational qualification / technical qualification and experience certificates at the time of the trade specific tests.
✓ Incomplete application will be summarily rejected and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
✓ No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test/trade specific tests.
(1) The written examination is tentatively scheduled to be held in the month of February / March 2025.
✓ In case the number of candidates is more and it is not possible to accommodate in the preferred choice of centre of examination then they will be accommodated in the nearest centre of examination. However, efforts will be made to accommodate those candidates who will be appearing for both 12th and 10th level of examination in the same centre of examination.
DGAFMS Recruitment 2025 Selection Process:-
(a) Selection will be made on the basis of competitive examination which will consist of two:
(i) Written Examination of 100 marks.
(ii) Typing test/short hand test/trade test wherever applicable to the post & will be of qualifying nature.
(b) The written test will consist of multiple choice questions of
(1) General Intelligence and Reasoning
(ii) Numerical Aptitude
(iii) General English
(iv) General Awareness
(c) Written examination will be of two (02) hours duration. The standard of written test will be based on the minimum educational qualification prescribed for the post. The questions will be in English and Hindi language only.
(d) Candidates, who qualify the written examination, will be called for trade specific tests as applicable to the post applied for (where required). The number of candidates to be called for trade specific tests will be five to seven times the number of vacancies.
